In 2007 three good friends got together and built up the West Cork Distillery - a small independent whiskey distillery.
Bog Oak Charred Cask Irish Whisky is aged for five years in former Bodega Sherry casks before receiving its finish for six months in new charred American oak casks. The cask is charred using Bog Oak from the forests of Glengarriff.
