In 2007 three good friends joined forces and built up the West Cork Distillery - a small independent whiskey distillery.
As usual with other West Cork bottlings, this whiskey is also distilled three times.
To create a better effect between the copper, the pot stills and of course the rising steam, the West Cork stills are only half filled.
West Cork STOUT CASK FINISH Irish Blended Whiskey matures in first-fill bourbon casks and gets a very special finish in so-called Black's Stout Beer Casks.
These beer casks come from the Black's Brewery in Kinsale and give the whiskey an extraordinary taste and outstanding aromas.
