The Villa Lobos Distillation Strength Blanco Tequila 100% de Agave 55% Vol. 0.7 l is an exceptional tequila at cask strength, created for connoisseurs and lovers of authentic, unadulterated agave flavors. This powerful Blanco is produced in the traditional Destileria La Altena in the heart of Los Altos de Jalisco, where the conditions for growing the blue Weber agave are ideal. The Villa Lobos Distillation Strength Blanco is made exclusively from 100% blue Weber agave, which is harvested after around eight years of maturation and then gently cooked in traditional stone ovens (hornos). After fermentation and double distillation, the tequila is bottled unfiltered at a distillation strength of 55% by volume - just as it comes straight from the still. Maturation in wood is deliberately avoided in order to preserve the pure character of the agave and to emphasize the powerful structure that makes this Blanco so unique.
