Van Hoo vodka has its roots in the oldest distillery in Belgium, which was founded back in 1740, and thus represents a long tradition and craftsmanship in the production of spirits.

This vodka is produced by a fivefold distillation, a complex process that results in an exceptionally pure and balanced-flavored product. In addition to distillation, Van Hoo vodka undergoes charcoal filtration. This additional filtration stage serves to further refine the vodka and improve its mildness and smoothness.

In 1998, Van Hoo vodka was evaluated in a blind tasting by the Beverage Tasting Institute of Chicago together with 80 other vodkas. Van Hoo received a score of 91 out of a possible 100 points, placing it in fifth place.
