The V8+ Prosecco BRUNO Extra Brut Millesimato 2023 is a precisely vinified Prosecco Extra Brut from the renowned Friuli Venezia Giulia wine-growing region, which stands for clear freshness, fine perlage and a decidedly dry style. Produced by V8+, this vintage bottling is based exclusively on the Glera grape variety, which reveals its aromatic potential in a particularly pure and unadulterated way. The vineyards are located at 30 to 40 m above sea level with a north-easterly orientation of the rows of vines and are characterized by deep, silty-clayey soils with no skeletal components, which allow for an even water supply and stable ripening.

With around 3,300 vines per hectare and a yield of around 180 quintals per hectare, a good balance is achieved between freshness and concentration of aromas. The grapes are harvested using the double-inverted system to preserve grape quality and integrity. Vinification begins with gentle pneumatic pressing, using only the first must from the free run-off. The first fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14 to 15 °C. The second fermentation according to the Martinotti or Charmat method takes place at 15 to 16 °C for at least 60 days, deliberately slow, in order to achieve a fine, persistent perlage and a distinctive aroma profile. The V8+ Prosecco BRUNO Extra Brut Millesimato 2023 then matures for 3 to 4 months on the fine lees with continuous battonage. The ageing potential is 18 to 24 months.
