Yuzu is a citrus fruit grown in Japan that visually resembles a lemon. It has a strong fragrance, unique herbal notes, mild bitterness, and a less pungent acid taste.
Born in Kagoshima in the shadow of the Sakurajima volcano, this gin is based on the traditional Japanese shochu spirit.
When the high quality shochu is redistilled, the result is a smooth gin with a wonderfully soft mouthfeel.
