The Tommasi winery is located in Pedemonte, in the heart of Italy's traditional Valpolicella region, and extends over 40 hectares. The family estate was founded in 1902 and is now run by Dario Tommasi and his brothers in the fourth generation. The winery now covers 135 hectares of its own vineyards.
The vines grow on calcareous, weathered clay soils, which give the wine a special minerality. The grape varieties consist of 60% Corvina, 30% Rondinella and 10% Molinara. After fermenting for seven days in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for four months in stainless steel and then for two months in 65-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels.
Thanks to the careful care and balanced maturation, the wine impresses with its harmony and expressiveness - a reflection of the long family tradition of the Tommasi family.
