The Togouchi Japanese Blended Whisky Rum Cask Finish 43% Vol. 0.7 l + GB extends the Togouchi range with an innovative bottling with a clear Japanese signature and exceptional cask finishing. This Japanese blended whisky is distilled entirely in Japan, in the stills of the Sakurao Brewery & Distillery, and then matured in the brand's characteristic storage location, a historic railroad tunnel. The cuvee consists of 15% malt whisky and 85% grain whisky made from unmalted barley, which gives the whisky an elegant structure and clear lines.

Like the entire Togouchi range, this bottling is first matured in bourbon casks before being given an exceptionally long 18-month finish in Jamaican rum casks. This carefully coordinated maturation was perfected in a long development process in order to achieve maximum depth of aroma and balance. For the first time, a blend in the series is bottled at 43% vol., which brings out the texture, expression and barrel character with particular precision. The Togouchi Rum Cask Finish remains true to the brand's clear, pure and elegant style while adding a subtle exotic note to the portfolio.
