The Macallan Concept No. 2 is the second release of the new Concept series from Macallan.
This whisky is intended to unite the similarities and points of contact of the production of whisky and the composition of music.
Whisky Maker Steven Bremner tries to unite and celebrate his two greatest passions.
Bremner grasps the similarities and so, for example, in music notes and sounds are brought together and superimposed on each other. Exactly the same process can be observed in whisky production - only here, taste notes and the selected maturing process play a major role.
This Macallan is stored in American oak casks flavored with sherry, Miguel Martin sherry casks and ex-Bourbon casks.
