Shinobu blended whisky is produced in Niigata, an important port city at the mouth of the Shinano River. "Shinobu" means "forbearance" in Japanese.

This blend is made from whiskies matured in bourbon casks. Under the direction of Master Distiller Mr. Usami, carefully selected drops are combined and refined in Japanese Mizunara casks.

Bottling is carried out without the addition of artificial colorants.
