As part of the annual Peat Smoked series, The Glenturret Distillery, founded in 1763 and thus the oldest active distillery in Scotland, presents an impressive interpretation of its smoky house style - authentic, powerful and complex at the same time.
This 10-year-old single malt has been matured in a carefully selected range of American oak and European oak casks, which give the whisky both structure and depth. The natural peat is finely integrated and gives the whisky an aromatic smoky note that harmoniously combines with sweet, spicy and fruity nuances. Bottled at 48.4 % vol., non-chill-filtered and in its natural color, the whisky presents itself in its unadulterated, pure artisanal form - an expression of quality and patience, as has been cultivated at Glenturret for centuries.
