The Equiano Rum is a blend of Mauritius and Barbados rum.

In Mauritius, the rum matures in French Limousin and Cognac casks, which gives it its complex notes.

On Barbados, the award-winning rum from the Foursquare Rum Distillery is used, which matures in ex-bourbon casks.

Freshly married, the two distillates get a finish in American White Oak Cask. Here the rum matures for about 8 years.

The Equiano Rum is neither colored nor are various additives added.
