Deacon Distilleries as well as their products "Ashwa Liquors" have been created through research and development and are known to reduce the effects of alcohol consumption. Dr. B. Srinivasa Amarnath started his profession as an Ayurvedic doctor in 1980, counseling patients addicted to alcohol. Through the innovative idea of giving these people something that would benefit them, Amarnath, after 30 years of research, invented Ashwa Liqueurs, fortified with plant alkaloids and processed with miracle herbs. Deacon Distilleries is the first liqueur company to focus on the production of health-promoting liqueurs.
"Deacon" translates from Scottish to mean a skilled and capable master craftsman. The Deancon thus serves as a tribute to all master craftsmen, no matter what their profession. The whisky is an exquisite blend of smoky Speyside and peaty Islay Malt whiskies that give it its complex, rich and smoky flavors. A superb blend that defies traditional Scotch conventions and is particularly compelling with its complex flavors. The squiggly pattern of the bottle as well as the iconic mascot also make this whisky special. The distillation of the Deacon whiskey takes place in traditional copper stills.
