The two experienced bartenders Stephan Berg and Alexander Hauck from Munich implemented the idea of producing cocktail bitters themselves on a larger scale and selling them on the market. They used old cocktail recipes as a criterion for deciding which flavor to go for. In the fall of 2006, the time had come - the first three products of the brand "The Bitter Truth" appeared on the market. This led to a revival of the cocktail bitters segment on an international level, and the brand grew steadily.
