It is matured in a double cask maturation of bourbon oak casks and smaller quarter casks. The smaller cask volume of the quarter casks increases the contact between the wood and the distillate, creating additional intensity, structure and richness. This process gives the BenRiach Quarter Casks 46% a multi-layered profile with harmoniously integrated sweetness and spicy depth.
