Since the founding of the Balvenie distillery, there have been hardly any changes; the single malts are still produced in the traditional way today.
Together with its sister distillery Glenfiddich, The Balvenie is still independent and family-owned by its founders.
The 18-year-old Balvenie is first aged in American oak casks and then receives its finish in Pedro Ximenez Casks.
All bottles are marked with the cask number and with a bottle number.
