The Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto IGT 2024, 13.5% ABV, in a 0.75-liter bottle, is an elegant and expressive Super Tuscan from Tuscany that bears the unmistakable signature of the legendary Tenuta San Guido winery. As the “little brother” of the world-famous Sassicaia, the Guidalberto Toscana IGT has long since made a name for itself and is now one of Italy’s most sought-after red wines. This blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot combines international grape varieties with the unique terroir of the Tuscan coast and embodies elegance, finesse, and remarkable complexity.

The vineyards benefit from the characteristic limestone- and stone-rich soils, which lend the wines structure, minerality, and precision. After temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages for about twelve months in 225-liter barriques, primarily made of French oak, supplemented by a small proportion of American oak. The barrel mix consists of both new and previously used barriques, which optimally preserves the fruit while also creating additional complexity. After a brief period of bottle aging, the wine is released for sale. With an alcohol content of 13.5% ABV, the Guidalberto 2024 is harmonious, precise, and superbly structured. Thanks to its balance and body, this premium red wine from Tuscany has an aging potential extending at least until 2035.
