The brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori began their ambitious Tenuta di Biserno project in 1994, which is ideally situated between the coast and the rolling hills of Bibbona. This region offers exceptional soil conditions that are perfect for growing high-quality grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

The carefully selected grape varieties of the Tenuta di Biserno wine are made up of 40% Merlot, 32% Cabernet Franc, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot. This harmonious blend gives the wine an impressive depth and complexity. After the harvest, the wine is aged for 12 months in a combination of new and used French barriques, followed by a further six months of bottle ageing.

The soil, which consists mainly of alluvial soils and clay, promotes the optimal development of the vines and makes a decisive contribution to the character of the wine. This terroir-driven approach ensures that the wines from Tenuta di Biserno impress with their elegance, structure and finely tuned aromas, delighting both wine lovers and connoisseurs alike.
