The Tement Sauvignon Blanc Kalk & Kreide Suedsteiermark DAC 2025, 12% ABV, in a 0.75-liter bottle is a distinctive Austrian white wine from the renowned Suedsteiermark DAC region and is one of the signature wines of the Tement Winery. The grapes come from biodynamically farmed vineyards in South Styria, where the soils consist of coral limestone, limestone, and loamy calcareous marl. These unique soil structures shape the mineral-driven and precise character of this Sauvignon Blanc and impressively reflect its origin.

The vines, ranging in age from 17 to 57 years, yield concentrated grapes with great expressiveness. After natural spontaneous fermentation, the wine matures slowly on its fine lees in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels, imparting additional depth, structure, and elegance. The Tement Sauvignon Blanc Kalk & Kreide embodies the essence of a typical South Styrian Sauvignon Blanc: straightforward, fresh, and shaped by its origin and terroir. The 2025 vintage is best enjoyed from 2026 to 2036 and is sealed with a high-quality VinoLok glass closure. With an alcohol content of 12% ABV, this white wine delights with its elegance, precision, and great aging potential.
