Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2020 belongs to the traditional category of LBV Ports, which Taylor's was instrumental in shaping in order to offer a high-quality, ready-to-drink alternative to the classic Vintage Port. While Vintage Ports are bottled after a short period of barrel maturation, an LBV remains in wooden barrels for four to six years and is then bottled ready to drink. The 2020 vintage is based on a selection of intense, full-bodied Ports from the 2019 harvest, which come from our own vineyards and top locations in the Cima Corgo and Douro Superior. Only traditional, high-quality Douro grape varieties were used: Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca and Tinto Cao, whose interplay ensures structure, depth and complexity.

Today, Taylor's is still regarded as a leading producer in the LBV segment, and the 2020 shows the house's typical signature: power, elegance and precise depth of fruit. As the wine is bottled ready to drink, it does not require decanting. A serving temperature of 16-18 °C is recommended, while it should be stored cool, upright and protected from light. The combination of classic grape variety selection, traditional production and careful barrel ageing makes this port wine a stylish option for enjoyable evenings, special moments and the accompaniment of aromatic dishes.
