Taylor's is a port wine producer from Portugal. The family business was founded in 1692 and is still very successful in producing high quality port wines.
Alistair Robertson, chairman of Taylor's, has developed the style Late Bottled Vintage. He was the first to come up with the idea of allowing the port wine to mature in barrels for so long that it is ready to drink immediately after bottling.
The Taylor's matures for two years in oak barrels in Vila Nova de Gaia before being bottled.
