Taylor's is one of the most renowned producers of matured tawnies. The 20 Year Old Tawny matures in small used oak casks with a capacity of around 630 litres.

Over the course of its long maturation, it gradually takes on the characteristic brick red 'tawny' colour and develops complex ripe flavours and the soft lush palate that characterise a Tawny Port.

In 20 Year Old Tawny, Taylor's blends around twenty year old ports from its extensive stocks, which mature in small casks in the house's cool and tranquil lodges in Porto, on Portugal's Atlantic coast.

In the 20 Year Old Tawny, the fruit has gently continued to develop and the spicy, nutty flavours of maturity are also more intense and powerful than in the 10 Year Old Tawny.
