The distillation of Tanduay Asian Rum Gold takes place on the tropical island of the Philippines. The distillery Tanduay Distillers, whose headquarters are in Manila, has now specialized in the export to the U.S. as well as Europe and has already collected some praise for the golden molasses rum. It is aged for 7 years in former bourbon barrels. This unique rum is described as a Far Eastern alternative to Bacardi.
