The story of Tamdhu Distillery begins under the warm Spanish sun, in 1898 the founders secured sherry casks from the best bodegas in Spain.
Today over 10 years later Tamdhu whisky is aged exclusively in the finest oloroso sherry casks, although these casks are exceptionally rare and expensive the distillery will not change their method as they believe this is the best way to produce the best single malt whisky.
The rare oak vouches for two great qualities: Color and taste.
The 18 years of aging in sherry casks gives this Speyside single malt its elegant color and its rich and complex flavor.
