The Talisker PORT RUIGHE Single Malt Scotch Whisky 45.8% ABV 0.7 l is a special bottling from the venerable Talisker Distillery on the Isle of Skye. It is named after the ancient Gaelic name of Portree, the island's most important harbor. In doing so, Talisker honors the distillery's long seafaring tradition and its connection to the region's maritime culture.

The whisky is first matured in ex-bourbon casks and refilled oak barrels before being finished in port wine casks. This special maturation process gives it additional fruity depth and an elegant balance between the typical Talisker smokiness and sweet and spicy port notes. With an alcohol content of 45.8% ABV, it is robust, full-bodied, and unmistakably maritime in character.
