The Springbank 10 Years Old Fino Cask Matured is an exceptional limited edition from Campbeltown that combines the distillery's characterful distillation style with the elegance of a rare fino sherry cask maturation. Distilled in July 2015 and bottled in October 2025, this bottling comprises a total quantity of just 11,400 bottles. The whisky was initially matured for four years in refill bourbon hogsheads before being aged for a further six years in fresh fino hogsheads made from American oak. This special cask profile gives the single malt an impressive combination of dry, nutty fino elegance and the traditional, slightly oily Campbeltown texture. At 55% vol., non-chill-filtered and bottled in its natural form, this edition displays an authentic cask strength with remarkable depth. Due to the lack of chill-filtration, a slight natural "haze" can form when cold, which disappears again at normal temperature - a quality feature that confirms the unadulterated substance of the whisky.

The special cask composition combines maritime Campbeltown accents with fine, dry sherry notes. Fino sherry casks bring characteristic nuances such as light nuts, floral dryness and subtle salty hints, which blend harmoniously with the strong, slightly oily Springbank distillate. The ten-year maturation, spread over two types of cask, creates a complex interplay of aromas with structure, tension and excellent balance. This limited bottling impressively demonstrates how Springbank combines traditional methods, long fermentations and direct firing with precise cask selection.
