Smokehead TEQUILA CASK TERMINADO Islay Single Malt Whisky Limited Edition 43% Vol. 0,7l

The Smokehead Tequila Cask Terminado Islay Single Malt Whisky Limited Edition 43% combines the boisterous character of a typical smoky Islay single malt with an unusual tequila cask finish. According to the manufacturer, this is where the rebellious style of Smokehead meets the powerful agave world of Mexico, creating a special liaison between two different spirits traditions. The finish in selected tequila barrels results in a combination of intense smoke structure and the lively influences of agave. The official description emphasizes that this cask maturation combines fiery peat smoke with wild agave, creamy accents such as meringue and light citrus and sweet nuances. The edition thus presents itself as a whisky that is deliberately off the beaten track and underlines Smokehead's love of experimentation.

As a limited edition, the whisky is bottled at 43% and reflects the brand's typical combination of strong peat, modern cask selection and a creative approach to flavor development. The distillery is aiming this bottling at connoisseurs who are looking for the smoky Islay character combined with exotic cask finishing. The result is a single malt with a striking attitude and a long-lasting structure that is characterized by both the tequila finish and the intense Islay style.
