The name of the Slyrs Fifty One Single Malt Whisky refers to the 51% vol.
For the time being the maturing takes place in casks of new American white oak, with a volume of 225 litres.
For the Fifty One, additional casks are used in which sherry, port or Sauternes were previously stored.
After maturing in the Upper Bavarian mountain climate, the barrel strength is adjusted to drinking strength with mountain spring water.
Slyrs Fifty One Single Malt Whisky is neither coloured nor cold filtered.
