Distilled in 2008 at the historic North British Distillery and bottled by Signatory Vintage on May 4, 2026, this whisky matured for 18 years before being released in a 0.7-liter bottle at 46% ABV. Like all bottlings in the Un-Chillfiltered Collection, this whisky is bottled without chill filtration and without the addition of colorants, ensuring that its natural character and full aroma are fully preserved.
This single grain whiskey owes its exceptional complexity to the combination of first-fill sherry hogsheads and refill bourbon barrels. While the sherry casks contribute intense notes of fruit, nuts, and chocolate, the former bourbon barrels provide elegant hints of vanilla, caramel, and oak. The interplay of these two cask types gives the distillate a remarkable balance of sweetness, spice, and a delicate woody character.
