The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roer region in the municipality of Piobesi d'Alba, a few kilometers from Alba.

The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling license, the No. 1 of the UTF.

Nebbiolo pomace from freshly harvested grapes, selected by Sibona during the harvest, is used.

Distillation takes place entirely in-house in copper stills, while ageing takes place for a long period in stainless steel vats. This grappa is matured for an initial 2 years in medium-sized barrels made from classic oak and a further 2 years in port wine barrels that previously contained "Porto Vintage".

The ageing in port wine barrels was tested by Sibona as an innovation and leads to high-quality results.
