Originally working as a butcher, he took the step of turning his hobby into a profession - a decision that quickly earned him recognition in the wine scene. Today, the winery is run with dedication by Hans himself together with his son Michael, who continue the family's legacy with a spirit of innovation and experience.
Schwarz THE BUTCHER Blaufraenkisch is a single-varietal Blaufraenkisch that matures for 12 months in both large wooden barrels and small, used Burgundy barrels. This carefully coordinated ageing gives the wine a well-balanced, deep aroma and harmonious structure. After ageing, the wine is carefully bottled and sealed with a screw cap, which optimally preserves freshness and quality.
