The Salzl Syrah Reserve 2022 14% is a full-bodied Austrian red wine made from 100% Syrah, characterized by concentrated fruit, consistent oak aging, and remarkable aging potential. The vines grow on sandy soil, and vinification involves traditional maceration in stainless steel tanks at 30 °C. The wine remains on the skins for 14 days, after which it undergoes malolactic fermentation. To add structure and complexity, the Salzl Syrah Reserve is aged for 12 months in small oak barrels, using exclusively 100% new oak. The 2022 vintage was bottled in August 2025.

In the 0.75-liter bottle, the Salzl Syrah Reserve 2022 presents itself as a full-bodied reserve red wine whose intense character is supported by a fine tannin structure, fresh minerality, and harmoniously integrated oak.
