The Salzl Cuvee 3-5-8 Premium 2020 is an impressive Austrian red wine from the Neusiedlersee wine-growing region in Burgenland, which is considered the true flagship of the Salzl Seewinkelhof winery. This exceptional cuvee combines Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon to create a powerful, profound yet harmonious wine that stands for the highest quality, precision and passion.

The grapes come from old vines that grow on sandy soils and black earth consisting of loamy silt with a high gravel content - a terroir that allows for optimal ripeness, concentration and minerality. After the harvest, the wine is gently vinified before maturing for 24 months in small oak barrels (100% new wood). This long barrel ageing gives it its dense structure, fine toasted notes and exceptional complexity. With an alcohol content of 14% vol., the Salzl Cuvee 3-5-8 Premium is a dry, perfectly balanced red wine with great ageing potential - best drunk between 2025 and 2035.
