It all began when Alois Goelles, the father of David Goelles, designed the chocolate spirit in collaboration with Josef Zotter. From that day on, the family began to produce rum. The son, David Goelles, then founded the Ruotker's company in Riegersburg, Styria.
Today, Ruotker's offers high-quality whiskies, rums and gin.
The Wilhelm III. Whiskey consists of very fine Scottish barley and is stored for 4-5 years in American white oak barrels.
The special thing about the Wilhelm III. Whiskey is that it is processed and distilled in Styria.
