Rum Nation produces rums from a wide variety of nations. In 1999, the Rum Nation Rare Rums were founded. The bottlings are produced by an independent bottler, Rossi and Rossi, in Italy.

The rum is molasses based and distilled in Savanna in a Double Wooden Pot Still. It is aged in Cognac Casks and finishes in Refill Oloroso Sherry Casks.

The bottlings are neither colored nor sweetened.
