The Rum Nation Rare Rums Marie Galante Guadeloupe 2017/2025 is an exclusive limited edition from the prestigious Rare Rums series. Distilled in 2017 at the renowned Pere Labat distillery on the island of Marie-Galante and bottled in 2025, this rum is an authentic rhum agricole with an unadulterated character. With an alcohol content of 55.4% vol., it is bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration and without colorants, making it an honest and expressive bottling.
It was matured for five years in a tropical climate in ex-cognac casks and then completed with a two-year finish in Oloroso sherry casks. This barrel management gives the rum a fascinating combination of freshness, fruitiness and vinous warmth. The aromas of citrus fruit and dried fruit merge with the elegance of oak, fine spice and a subtle sweetness from the sherry cask. The result is a complex yet harmonious composition that perfectly reflects the identity of its origin.
