The Rhum J.M distillery is one of the few distilleries that distill Rhum Agricole. The distillery is located in the evergreen Macouba on Martinique. The plant follows the strict regulations of the "Appelation D'Origine Controlee".
Particular emphasis is placed on the very freshly pressed juice of the sugar cane grown in-house at the foot of the Montagne Pelee volcano.
The Rhum J.m Single Barrel Agricole Hors D'Age 1999 is a multi-layered 21 year old Agricole Hors D'Age Rhum. Distillation takes place in column stills and bourbon casks of American white oak.
The rums are neither colored, sweetened nor chill-filtered.
