The Poeckl winery, which was founded by Albert Poeckl, has been in existence for over 100 years. The Poeckl family now cultivates around 40 hectares of vineyards in the Seewinkel region of Burgenland. The outstanding quality of the wines, which is reflected in their intense fruit, elegance and pronounced tannins, has been recognized for 30 years. The sunny climate and rich soils of Lake Neusiedl provide the basis for the exceptional quality of Poeckl wines.
The Zweigelt grapes thrive in loamy gravel soil, which gives the wine its particularly fruity notes. Poeckl Zweigelt can be stored until 2027 and is sealed with a screw cap.
