This rum is based on a blend of pot still and column still distillates, which provide the typical Jamaican character: powerful ester notes meet a harmonious softness. The first maturation phase takes place in the tropics in ex-bourbon barrels before the rum is finished in France in aromatic Curacao wine barrels. This rare choice of barrel gives it an exceptional freshness that combines the exotic fruitiness of Jamaica with floral and citrus accents.
