Pasote Reposado Tequila 40% Vol. 0,7l
The name "Pasote" stands for the courageous spirit of the Aztec warriors. They usually celebrated their victories and rituals by drinking the agave juice. Thus, Pasote Tequila is also distilled from the blue webera agave.
For the production, the agave hearts are baked in traditional ovens and crushed with a mechanical tahona. 40% pure rainwater and 60% spring water are used for distillation. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and then the tequila matures for two to twelve months in American oak barrels.
The bottle design features drawings dedicated to the sun god. The Pasote Reposado depicts the Jaguar Warrior - who fought on the front lines and took prisoners for the Sun God. The bottles are handmade by a family of glass artisans in Mexico.
