Old English Gin is distilled from English wheat, then diluted to 44% with water and perfected with 3 grams of sugar.
Since England was the largest importer of French champagne in 1783, the champagne bottles were recycled and often refilled with gin.
This tradition is also used for Old English Gin, the champagne bottles are re-printed and sealed with a natural cork and soft wax.
