The Nonino distilleries are unique in the world as they have five artisanal distilleries, each equipped with 12 discontinuous copper steam stills. Each of these distilleries represents a family member, and in addition there is a steam still for each grandchild, demonstrating the continued dedication to the art of distillation within the family.

 

The Nonino Riserva Antica Cuvee 5 Years Old Cask Strength Grappa is made from Cabernet, Merlot and Schioppettino grape pomace distilled in copper steam stills. The distillate then matures for between 5 and 20 years in barrique barrels before being bottled at cask strength and without the addition of colorants.
