The Miraval winery, located in a picturesque valley in France, was acquired by Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in 2008. After the initial wine results did not meet their expectations, Jolie and Pitt called in the renowned Perrin family of winemakers to improve the quality of their wines.
Miraval is known for its sustainable farming practices and the absence of pesticides, which not only protects the environment but also helps the wines retain their elegant and fresh characteristics. The main grape varieties used are Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Tibouren. The wines are matured in steel tanks to preserve the freshness and purity of the aromas.
