The Marchesi Antinori Tignanello IGT 2022 1.5 l in a wooden crate is an icon of Italian viticulture and a milestone in modern wine history. As one of the first Super Tuscans, Tignanello marked a turning point: the first Sangiovese to be refined in barriques, one of the first red wines from the Chianti region without white grape varieties and a pioneering cuvee of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Produced by the renowned Marchesi Antinori winery, this Toscana IGT stands for innovation, origin and uncompromising quality.

The grapes come from the Tignanello vineyard with rocky, chalky soils of Alberese and Galestro rock, which are characterized by structure, depth and longevity. The ageing in barriques creates a powerful, precise red wine with impressive balance. The 2022 vintage is concentrated and elegant at the same time. The magnum bottle (1.5 l) promotes particularly harmonious ageing; the wooden box underlines the collector's and gift character.

The label, designed by Silvio Coppola in 1974, with the stylized "sun" and the Antinori coat of arms, is also iconic. The signature of Niccolo Antinori - initiated by Marchese Piero Antinori - stands as a sign of gratitude and tradition for this pioneering work.
