The Marchesi Antinori Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2021 14% is a premium Italian red wine from Tuscany, produced in the renowned Montalcino region from the Sangiovese grape variety. The Pian delle Vigne winery is part of the historic Marchesi Antinori estate and is dedicated to producing an elegant, terroir-driven Brunello di Montalcino DOCG. The vines grow in soils rich in clay and limestone. After harvest, alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with the must macerating on the skins for about 15 days at 28 °C. This meticulous vinification lays the foundation for the structure, freshness, and long-term aging potential of the 2021 vintage.

The wine is then aged in oak, followed by two years of aging in large wooden barrels and further refinement in the bottle. The dry Brunello di Montalcino 2021 is sealed with a natural cork and has considerable aging potential through 2039. As such, the Antinori Pian delle Vigne Brunello is recommended both for discerning red wine lovers and for long-term cellaring. The combination of 100% Sangiovese, classic Montalcino origins, careful oak aging, and long aging potential makes it a characterful representative of Tuscany’s great red wines.
