The Marchesi Antinori Peppoli Chianti Classico DOCG 2024 13% Vol. 0.75 l comes from Tuscany, the historic heartland of the Chianti Classico appellation, and is made from Sangiovese, supplemented by Merlot and Syrah. The vines grow on stony, mineral soils, which contribute significantly to the structure and aromatic clarity of this wine. The grapes are vinified separately before the final assemblage takes place. The wine is then aged for nine months in Slavonian oak and ten percent in French barriques to achieve a balanced combination of fruit, structure and gentle wood spice. Additional bottle ageing of several months stabilizes the composition and rounds off the texture. The natural cork stopper underlines the classic orientation and quality of this DOCG bottling.

The Peppoli Chianti Classico 2024 shows the precise signature of Antinori, which has been one of the most important wineries in Italy for centuries and has had a lasting influence on the development of Chianti. The combination of terroir, grape variety diversity and careful vinification results in a wine with a clear structure, moderate ageing potential until 2031 and a versatile range of uses. Its stylistic orientation combines traditional Chianti elements with a modern, fresh line, making this vintage convincing both in a gastronomic environment and as a soloist. Its harmonious yet characterful style makes it a representative example of Tuscan red wine culture.
