The Maglock-Nagel winery is located in the picturesque Strassertal valley in the Krems-Land district of Lower Austria, surrounded by the renowned Wechselberg and Gaisberg vineyards. The geographical location allows for a diverse cultivation of different grape varieties, with the Gaisberg, Wechselberg and Hasel parcels providing an ideal basis for high-quality wines. Gruener Veltliner, Riesling, Fruehrote Veltliner (also known as Malvasier), Pinot Blanc, Zweigelt and St. Laurent grow here on an area of 15 hectares.

Now in its fifth generation, the Maglock-Nagel family devotes individual care to each vineyard, giving each wine a distinctive character despite the proximity of the vineyards. The pursuit of quality is reflected in the careful handling of each grape variety in order to fully develop the specific characteristics and potential of the terroir.

Maglock-Nagel Gruener Veltliner Strass Kamptal, grown in the nutrient-rich loess soils of the Hasel, Stangl and Point vineyards in Kamptal, was carefully harvested by hand on September 30, 2023. With a must weight of 18.5° KMW, the grapes show high ripeness and quality. After being harvested by hand, the wine matures in steel tanks and is finally bottled with a screw cap, which preserves the aromas and quality of the wine until it is enjoyed.
