The cuvee consists of 63% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay and comes from the Roederer vineyard “La Riviere.” The focus is primarily on Pinot Noir plots in Cumieres, where the warmer south-facing slopes produce ripe grapes, while cooler terroirs provide structure and freshness. For the rose, Louis Roederer employs a special infusion method in which Pinot Noir contributes its structure and character through prolonged, gentle contact.
