This Lokita Reposado is made from 100% blue agave leaves. The agaves from the Mexican province of Jalisco are harvested only when fully ripe, giving the Reposado its rich, fruity flavors. After the agaves are harvested, they are cooked in a hole in the ground for several days using traditional methods and then double distilled to remove as many impurities as possible. Lokita Tequila Reposado matures for 3 months in oak barrels, some of which are made of high-quality Allier and Limousin oak from France.
