Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia Bolgheri is carefully crafted and is an excellent second wine from the renowned Ornellaia. It is made from a balanced blend of 44% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc and 13% Petit Verdot, giving it both depth of flavor, good accessibility and solid ageing potential.

The grapes are carefully harvested by hand in September after a warm spring and hot summer conditions and sorted both manually and visually to ensure the highest quality. Fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks, followed by 15 months of ageing in barriques in Ornellaia's climate-controlled cellars. Finally, the wine is sealed with a natural cork, which ensures the authentic character and purity of taste.
